Some updates:
Attended sis convocation at Raffles City Convention Hall last sat. Each graduates has one complimentary guest hence sis had to fork out additional $55/ person for 2 more pax. Haha... she keep complaining tt so ex wow... loaning of the gown cost ~$200plus and the photograph package cost another $300plus. After the convocation, YQ pick us up and we went to Marina Barrage to fulfil my sis wish of taking photos there. We head to Vivo and had dinner at Soup Restaurant. Oso collected the swensen ice-cream tub at $1 due to the HSBC credit card promotion. Now there are already 4 tubs of ice-cream at home. Usual price is $10.80, tt's a cheap deal.
Make a couple of travel plan next year, quite a no of long wkend, going to make use of these wkends.
Booked jetstar airtix to Penang for Good Friday weekend next yr. Cost $109 per pax. Going there for 3 days 2 nights and able to maximise the time there as the arrival time at Penang is 8.25am on Friday and the return flight is 5.10pm on Sun. Going there with my parent, sis and YQ.
Also booked jetstar airtix to Phnom Penh last friday for travel from 16-19 Jan 10. Going there wif sis. Make use of the friday lunch sales promotion, cost $88 for return trip which is inclusive of tax, normal tix cost almost $200. Prefer Angkor Wat but the travelling period is from Apr - May 10. Dec - Jan is the ideal travelling period to Cambodia as the weather for the remaining months are either too hot or monsoon season.
Intend to go to Kuching during the National weekend with my family, havent book the airtix yet, waiting to see if there are promotions coming, latest will book by dec, scared the price will increase. Oso planning to go to Bangkok with YQ during Xmas period next yr. Most likely going for a week, wanna go Ayutthaya and Kanchanaburi too.
Only one trip this year and I planned so many trips next year, crazy.... but I love it! Hope that the budget airlines are flying to more destionations, the more the merrier. =)
