After a break of 5 mths, i'm rejoining the working force again. Went for 8 interviews and in the end, 2 companies offered me. Other than the 1st interview which I felt tt i didnt did well, the rest of the interview was more like gaining interview experience for me. In the end, i choose the property company although the IT company offered me a higher pay. Although pay is a factor but it is not the sole factor which I decide when accepting the job offer. Finally I'm working 5 days a week, this is something which I'm looking forward to. The working environment at the property firm is quite flexible which attracts me.
Had enrolled for ACCA P3 class this semester, this will make me more discipline since I gotta attend class. Enrolled for Fri class so I don't have to worry abt being tired for work the next day and I asked YQ to fetch me after class.
Was considering about attending Japanese class after CH bring up this. Told YQ abt this and he encourage me. But when I told him tt if the lesson is on wkends and I may spend less time wif him, he object to it. Chauvnistic right? Found that the Bukit Panjang CC is offering basic Japanese class from next sat onwards. Somemore it's from 11-12pm and YQ is working on Sat morning so which means this wldnt clash with my dating wif him. Still considering about it.
Going for another staycation next week for anniversary. Well, since YQ cant take leave, we just take a short break over the weekend. We booked Fairmont Hotel w/o breakfast for $138++ which is consider a steal. I also booked a 45 min massage at Element Spa which cost $18 with the UOB one card promotion. As for dinner, i leave it to YQ. I make a simple calculation that if I wanna stay in those 4 stars n above local hotels, there would be more than 70 such hotels. OMG, if i stay in 3 hotels a year, it would take me almost 23 yrs. Just too many....
Enjoyed this year Singapore Art Festival. Went to the opening and closing performance. The closing performance at Yishun by the Crackers? was spectacular with fireworks. Going to the Singapore River Festival next week http://www.visitsingapore.com/srf09 to catch the bumboat parade, read bridge spectacular and the impossible world record. Singapore is definitely more lively and interesting with such performances around.
